i'm back from the land below the wind! arrived on wednesday evening and back to work on thursday. now, i even have to work tomorrow and on sunday as well. ya, welcome to my world. now time to walk about. only had one hour sleep or so the most. rest of the time it's up and running. don't even have time to have a decent hotel breakfast as everything is in rush. aih..

i wonder what will my future husband says knowing that i work almost 24/7. i may have last minute duties, impromptu ones, etc. he might just one day loose his mind knowing that i spend more time at work rather than home doing house chores or even laundry.

oh well, that's if i ever get married ^_~

i'll be leaving for sabah this morning and will only be back on wednesday. touching down tawau until monday before flying to kota kinabalu on monday night.

ya.. work calls. hope it's fun. now still packing. need to send out a media advisory via email and fax after packing. hopefully when i reach there this morning, i get to have ample rest.

wishing everyone a good weekend and have a great time.

i'll let you know when i'm back. i'll be updating via twitter throughout the four days.

budget day was my sligthly busy day. i got into the parliament. security was tight. really tight. so my tweets for that friday was mostly on the budget. i was even tweeting while najib was giving the speech (cheated a little as i have the speech on hand). but still, i have to wait for him to say it before i can start tweeting.

i was sent to JB for a 9am meeting on the 5th by my boss. so i flew there - first flight in and last flight out.

pretty tiring travelling like this. woke up at 4am for final check on all my items before i took the 5.30am klia transit to klia.

i love the self check-in. i didn't have any luggage with me so i was advise to self check-in at the machines. it was awesome! saved a lot of time cos the queue was ridiculously long. all done including travelling time is about 50-55 minutes. not bad.

i reached the said meeting venue (unit perancang ekonomi negeri johor - UPEN) right at 9am. talk about being really on time and the meeting hasn't started. as i know no one i was pretty much to myself.

luckily i brought the office laptop and the broadband with me or else i'll be so doomed while waiting for my flights.

i was to do a presentation which i read it before i slept the night before and while in plane and turns out there was no slot for me to present. so YEAH!

lucky me too that i placed a facebook status saying that i'll be at JB and fadli volunteered to ferry me to the airport after my meeting (so sweet of you). i've only met fadli once in 2006 during the photoshop conference. he even told me that he has a surprise for me - yes, he brought tokrimau with him. coincidently they were both free that day.

we had lunch at putri harbour and toured JB roads - since there's not much time.

argh!! lupa mau take picture with these two wonderful gentlemen. sorry ye fadli ngan tok. lis janji next round, we must take a picture of the 3 of us ok?

flight delayed by almost an hour.. so i eventually reached home at almost 10.45pm. and port dickson awaits me the next day!

as usual, i'm the last one to say about the #rayatweetup which means another backdated post. i'm sorry. i was really busy with bagan pinang. yes.. travelling.

i had a great time at #rayatweetup. thank god i didn't listen to my boss who wants me to fly to JB on sunday instead of monday morning. yes, meeting at JB, 9am. took the first flight to JB and took the last flight back to KL.

volleyball

from my bedroom window while typing this entry, i can see a couple playing volleyball at the empty land below the playground. i can see them practising their serves, sets and ball passing (whatever you call all this techniques).

this reminds me of my high school days when a bunch of us played volleyball. at least once a week we'll be playing til all of us turned red. i of course was the one who turned red the fastest and later skin started peeling off and i'm dark as ever until now, i still am.

i was the only one in the group who cannot set a ball and cannot do tennis serves. yes, i was that bad that sometimes i can feel that they don't want to play with me cos they were practising for meets while i on the other hand was struggling like mad to at least learn to set or serve.

oh well, that was the only sport that i "joined" back in school. now, i barely play any. T_T
