i've got two babies to add on to my current existing baby. added into the family is my fisheye2 white knight (last three weeks back) and today my nikon d60!

sorry la. no pictures of them yet la. they are still in their boxes. using the fisheye2 but i still keep it in the box after using until i find something that fits to carry it around.
sorry for my long disappearance. i am around. i'm always around. it is jut that i didn't have the time to rant all about what has been going on for the past week.. gosh, it's been a week since i last blogged.
okok.. first things first. rentak juara : rhythm of champion 2008!
i wasted so much time waiting for the ktm and cab. i thank god i didn't
miss much. i missed teddybear's opening. darn.. but things were ok that
day. only that now, everyone has to vote! yes, sms voting! vote for

i send out about 200 plus over SMS to everyone in my phonebook and
about another 200 plus over YM messages, bulletin on friendster and

several of my friends that really have no idea what it is
about actually voted!! they texted me saying, "viewed the website. great! and because you are my friend, i
voted!" haha.. i'm like campaigning for a political party now. the rest
of the friends copied my message and resend it to their friends. see..
networking..
work is hectic. my pile of newspaper from the east keep growing and
growing. it's going to be as high as twin towers as i do not read fast
enough. not that i don't speed read. it's just that there's other
things to do and i have to meet those deadlines! besides, i screwed up
something in the office which is going to require a lot of explanation
from my boss to another. i can't seem to be able to take notes during a
meeting anymore and writing a contact report. what happen to me? i used
to be the secretary in college for everything. wait, i am still
secretary in other things as well. what's wrong with me?
nowadays, my memory is failing me.. i can't remember where i read (see, i told you so) that apparently drinking too much water is not good for memory. well, drinking water is good for your health. but it seems that too much of water is not good. i can't find the article. it's in one of those newspapers. not sure if it is in our local dailies or the eastern newspapers that i have been reading. i'm only sure that it is in english.
i've been lacking sleep too because of work. and the best part is
waiting for ktm to come home. i takes me so long just to get home. i've
been waiting an hour up to two hours plus just to get to the station
and i have to wait another hour or so just to board the bus. mid valley
to tasik selatan is just loosely about 20 mins and the bus ride by
right takes about 10-15 mins. why am i taking almost up to 3 days worth
of transport time just to get home. not only getting home, sometimes
i'm late to work because of the ktm too. darn!
oh well.. now have to go crack my brains and cough up a proposal soon. we are already behind time in seeking sponsorship FMDC-ians!!
i love taking pictures. snapping pictures of humans, buildings, roads, scenery and any other nonsense.
however, yesterday, after our visit to the international youth centre to get the details on how to write the Country Paper for the presentation, i found out that the pictures that i took of my friends in taman tasik permaisuri is lifeless.
my heart isn't there when the pictures are taken.
my heart is not with me.
it's a boring day.
and i have many pictures that i have yet to upload.
too many things happening. too little time to complete everything.

i stopped my first 365days project. i missed too many days that i don't have the time to keep up with it just yet. i'll begin again on 1st january. but i still took pictures everyday at the garden's toilet which i visit everyday or rather my friend visits everyday besides taking shots at home too.
true enough, the pictures tell a lot of stories. they tell how much i changed, how i have been dressing, and such. though it is just a self potrait, but pictures does paint a thousand words. well.. except painting my emotion.

the launch of astro's new magazine - astroview was held at prince hotel this morning. several vips graced the event - anita sarawak and husband mahathir, ac mizal, sarimah ibrahim, chinese celebs and also indian celebs. sorry that i'm not so familiar with chinese celebs and indian celebs. i watch malay movies more.
i was on an assignment there so i couldn't take shots of the celebrities. *darn sad* so, after the launch, at one corner, there is a photo booth which is open for everyone to take their picture which will be printed out to look like the cover of astroview. i didn't manage to get any of the celebrities to take pictures with me at the booth because i was working and by the time i finish my work, it is time for them to leave. so, i ended up taking a picture of myself and my camera. my trusty camera which cannot be taken out to be used ever since i started my internship.

with my thick face, after the picture was printed, i asked for a soft
copy. thank god i have my thumb drive with me. they so happened weren't
that busy so i get my soft copy!
i'm going to place this picture everywhere!!
i attended photoshopworld asia at mandarin oriental. i can't remember what made me want to attend it. maybe because i am getting rusty in photoshop. but i think i'm more rusty in illustrator instead. besides that i found out this event from the peeps from fmdc. one reason to go is to meet them also. that's the first aim since i never get to join them for teh tarik session yet.
so, geared with the aim to meet them, i rushed to finish my assignments which i did. then i also sent out invitation of the event to my entire class where 5 of them turn out bringing along 2 more others.
i didn't take much pictures i just realised. stupid me. i managed to take a picture of my feet with the goodie bag though. haha.
after the event, i joined the fmdc peeps for a klcc shooting outing. i had the best time of my life. i've never felt so much fun with this bunch of people for the longest time. it is like i've met and known them for a very long time. sorry guys, i might not be able to remember each and everybody's name yet. i need to tele the names and the faces. thanks to the thread in fmdc which allowed me to recall who is who and try my very best to remember everyone.

after not participating for theme 23 which i don't remember why. oh ya, the theme was cahaya. i had nothing for that month. i procrastinated long enough for this month's theme until i couldn't help myself but want to post the picture because i know my picture fits for the theme. i had the theme in my mind when i took the picture.
the picture was taken at Firefly Resort at Kuala Selangor. i was there on the first day of raya to watch the fireflies. that's the bridge to the chalet. well, from the chalet that i was staying actually.
i need to learn up on the photography lingo such as apperture, shutter speed, exposure, focal length, ISO speed, and whatever you can think of.
i just found out that the pictures i posted in my flickr comes with an EXIF ( exchangable image file) data. the picture comes complete with all the details (which is the lingo of course) and even the date and time of the picture that was taken.
somehow, my camera is able to adjust all these but until today, i still have yet to know how because photography illiterate. all i know is to point and shoot. hmm..
need to grab daddy's photography magazine and start learning. and that
will be after i am done with my assignments. learning the lingo can be
put on hold for a little while but my assignment due dates aren't going
to be postpone. just hope that i learn the lingo well to have it stored
in my brain.
